"if i ever needed your arms to hold me, baby, it's tonight"--jude cole

well, well

what a day! haha, i really did nothing at all...it was wednesday so i didn't have to work, and not many of us have wednesday off so it's always really quiet around here. i did my laundry and i don't know what else i did...hmm...i read some, talked to andy some, talked to shea-shea (who got a job! yay sheavon!) , got really excited about the tortillas that are coming to me in the mail tomorrow..! yay mom!...went to duane reade's with kenzie to pick up a few items in the rain..as badly as i wanted to go shopping, i just really coudln't bring myself to go out in the dreary weather with hundreds/thousands of others with umbrellas, trying NOT to get poked in the eye...awesome..so i stayed in..and slept and was lazy..i read some for class...made some spaghetti, then went to class...i prefer today's class to tuesday's...tuesdays are more philosophical and it really just goes over my head..but today's are always interesting about art or film, and i can tell that will be my favorite..does it really matter? i have to write papers in both of them..bleh..

after class, kenzie, jenni, emily, lauren and i were gonna go to the thai place across the street but it was closed, so we walked down to ollie's where i proceeded to get the world's largest bowl of wonton soup...kenzie told me that it was so big i could fit my face into it..awesome..the egg roll was a monster size as well...geez, but whatever it only cost me $7..only? then kenzie and jenni and went to starbucks..well i asked them to come with me, i'm in a really weird mood for comfort food...including chocolate or peppermint mochas (only available during xmas or so they say...you can have them make anything)..so they were good sports, b/c it seemed like we waited an hour for my tall peppermint mocha and when i finally got it, it was actually blended and cold..and i just looked at it and the barista was like "it's a peppermint mocha" and i said,..i realize that, but it's COLD and i asked for it hot...and here comes the new yorker in me, i just looked at her in such a way that for some reason made her take it back and make me a new one that was HOT! yessssssssss! (sorry ladies...) so an hour later, we made it back...i feel like it was worth the wait, but it should never take that long. whatever..i'm blogging early tonight, and i have also made a list of things i miss about texas..i was in a really pensive mood today..journaling, thinking about the future, thinking about what i miss...:-/..and ick, i smell like starbucks...so enjoy the list, leave me hugs & kisses, and await the time when my list will not be what i miss about texas, but what i'll miss about new york
